Master Classes

In addition to his year-round teaching at The Juilliard School and the Mannes College for Music in New York, Lewis Kaplan has held Master Classes at numerous schools and festivals for several decades. In 2017, he returned to the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria (home of Mozart), after a hiatus. Today, he leads Master Classes at the most prestigious schools, including the Royal College of Music in London and the Paris Conservatoire. In 2016, he led classes at the New Virtuosi Festival in Duino, Italy and in Suzhou, China, where he introduced the Bach Virtuosi Festival. Each summer, he insists on offering mentorship programs through Master Classes to developing musicians as a part of the Bach Virtuosi Festival.
